| 2009 was a very special year since I had quite a number of opportunites to paint in Maine.
Many sincere thanks to Peggy Hobbs for my "Red House Residency" in Acadia National Park; to Stephen Dunn and the Eastern Educational Foundation for my residency on Norton Island, Maine; and to Kate Petrie and Acadia National Park for three weeks on the Schoodic Peninsula.
